Sparrows Crossroad Tract:

Approximately 57 acres of this tract consists of 20 year old planted pines that have been thinned one time. The balance is hardwood bottomland and cypress/tupelo swamp. Although a "perk" test has not been done on this property, we do not believe that any portion would be suitable for a septic system. The best use for the property is hunting and timber production.
A 10% strip timber cruise was completed in 2003. There was estimated to be 150,000 board feet of saw timber and 1700 cords of pulpwood in the hardwood section of the property. The pine timber was recently estimated to be valued at $900 - $1000 per acre.
